Hi all! So this week I am currently attending the British Columbian dance provincials held in Prince Rupert. So far it's been another great experience and i've been fortunate enough to meet some incredible people.

The adjudicators here have had some very good advice not only for dance but in everyday life too. They taught us that no matter what you do give it 110%, cliche right? But if you actually apply this work ethic you will see a difference. Upon entering my second workshop with the adjudicators I gave it more than my all and discovered potential I never knew I had! I have always been someone who tries their hardest but was afraid to go beyond that. I've learned so much in just the first few days and look forward to what the rest of the week will bring! :)
Written by the founders of Free the Children, Me to We is an inspiring book on finding meaning in a material world as well as stories of the authors' experiences in third world countries. I highly recommend this book as it not only helps you see through a new perspective but all of the profits from the sales of this book are donated to the charity!

Well first off I'm excited to say that this is my very first blog ever! Two months ago I was chosen to represent the Skeena-Bulkley Valley in the Miss Teen Canada - World pageant. Out of 400 girls, 40 were selected to take part in the provincial pageant and nine were chosen to move on to the nationals in Toronto. I had such a great experience and am looking forward to meeting all of the wonderful girls this summer!
